Dwars is based on the game "Drug Wars" by John E. Dell. Set in New York, you are a drug dealer. Buy low and sell high, that's pretty much it. Download dwars at the SourceForge download page. You can probably compile dwars on any platform with a form of (n)curses and a gnu-ish C Compiler with little or no hacking if you know what you're doing.
NOTICE: I have stopped work on this incarnation of dwars, but I am working on a very large new game with a lot borrowed from this type of game, but it's nowhere near ready for release.
